In a world where Barack Obama becoming president convinced a multitude that racism was finally ‘dead’, at least until Get Out came out, I felt like a bold reminder that it was still around and not tolerated was needed. The red cross out mark is symbolic of a lot of things that shouldn’t be tolerated. No racism, fascism, sexism - the list is too long and goes on and on.
